Vintage 6-panel Chinoiserie room divider or floor screen. Features an abundant gold leaf background with hand painted nature scene with hand carved raised detailing. The scene depicts geese and flowering water lilies in shades of white, green, and pink with black accents. Rests on brass wrapped feet and is also decorated on the back with a black background and coordinating artwork.
Measurements: 96"W x .75" Thick x 72"H
Each panel measures approximately 16" Wide
CONDITION NOTES
Beautiful piece with cosmetic wear from age and use. Nicks/dings along the bottom and in some spots on the gold-leaf (which can be touched up). Brass feet show patina. Back of screen shows more wear/chips to the black finish, particularly along the edges of the panels.
