Antique gilt mahogany Chippendale style mirror handmade by Harold Margolis of the Nathan Margolis Shop in Hartford, CT. Features richly carved details accented with lavish gilt trim and plume. Inscribed and signed on the back by Harold Margolis, "Made in 1946 - went to Providence, RI. Bought back by me in 1965 in New York City." At the same time, the article detailing the works of Nathan and Harold Margolis was posted on the back of the frame.
